Purpose of Job: To support the production planner and assist with the stock control of all raw materials.

Main responsibilities:

  • Dealing with suppliers, internal and external customers in a professional, courteous manner at all times to establish and consistently operate communication processes that promote two-way feedback and develop relationships based on openness and trust.
  • Work closely with the Production planner to ensure raw materials and planned production are in line with stock holding parameters and customer demand.
  • Use of Excel/spreadsheets to track and benchmark parameters relating to supplier, performance, company usage, stock holding and overseeing contracted volumes.
  • Telephoning suppliers and customers as required, to arrange or chase, in and outbound deliveries.
    Raise and reconcile purchase orders with delivery notes, ensuring quantity and price integrity is maintained. liaising with the accounts department and the Supply Chain Manager where discrepancies are found.
  • Good organisational skills and a thorough attention to detail are a must in this role.

KEY SKILLS.

Methodical and analytical thinker, with strong Excel spreadsheet and Microsoft Outlook skills.
Extreme attention to detail is required to ensure accuracy of stock count and spend criteria.

Main responsibilities:

  • 1. Communicate effectively with the other Engineering Team and Staff on site via shift diaries and email system
  • 2. Log all data/readings accurately for Industrial Refrigeration and other plant and Equipment.
  • 3. Have the ability/skills to make essential repairs and adjustments to plant and equipment to ensure that
  • cooking/production/packing is not compromised.
  • 4. Ability to use PPM systems.
  • 5. Promote a Continuous Improvement Culture throughout the site.
  • 6. Ideally, wide experience with Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Steam, three-phase electrical systems including inverters and PLCs, Compressed Air, Industrial refrigeration, Mechanical such as bearings, etc. (Not all the above must be covered)

Preferred Qualifications/Skills set:

This position is open to multi-skilled, time-served Engineers who have suitable electrical / engineering qualifications and are keen to develop their career in a fast-paced environment. Food Industry Experience is ideal, but a tidy, methodical working manner is equally important.

One of the most important qualities is a “can-do” attitude and total flexibility in working hours and days.
Rotating shift pattern, mornings, afternoons or nights will be required, depending on the needs of the business or covering holidays, but mainly working the night shift.

Job description

We are looking to increase our warehouse team. We have available shifts, Monday - Friday 2.00 pm - 10.00 pm and Tuesday - Saturday 2.00 pm - 10.00 pm.

To work as part of the warehouse team, assisting with the day to day running of the department.

  • Order picking of raw materials and temperature checking the ingredients.
  • Loading and unloading lorries, working in fridges and freezers
  • Rotation of stock, Completing all relevant paperwork. Computer work is required.
  • Good communication skills are a must for this role as you will need to communicate with the supply Chain, Maintenance, all factory departments and HR.
  • Adhering to all Company policies and procedures, including Food Safety and Health and Safety.
  • To check and monitor the cleaning of the warehouse, in accordance with the department cleaning checklist.
  • To communicate daily to the warehouse/logistics manager, either by email, telephone or face to face.
